Carlos Sainz Drove a Perfect Wet Race. Ferrari Threw It Away.

From P18 to P10 in monsoon chaos, Sainz read every weather shift correctly. Hamilton, one stop earlier on the wrong tyre, lost two places from P6.

Carlos Sainz started eighteenth in Singapore and crossed the line tenth, lapped but brilliant. Lewis Hamilton started sixth and finished eighth, also lapped. One of them drove a perfect wet race. The other listened to his pit wall.
