Lewis Hamilton was fastest through Monza's opening chicanes and still finished behind Oscar Piastri. When you're quicker where slipstream matters most and lose anyway, the problem isn't the car.

Lewis Hamilton was the fastest driver through Monza's first two chicanes in qualifying — over a third of a second quicker than Oscar Piastri. He qualified fifth. Piastri qualified third.
