Now add context: Piastri ran sixteen laps on his soft tyres to Norris's twelve. More track time, more attempts to find the limit, and he still couldn't match his teammate's pace. This wasn't a case of one driver nailing a single banker lap while the other pushed too hard. Piastri had more chances and used none of them.
