Norris Won Qualifying In The Final Sector. The Grid Says Otherwise.

A third of a second faster through the final sector should mean pole position. Instead, it meant a four-place gap to Verstappen.

Lando Norris carved out a third of a second on Max Verstappen through the final sector of Abu Dhabi — Turns 12 through 16, the twisty hotel section where momentum and precision matter most. Key Finding
Norris dominated Sector 3 by 0.332s but still finished four positions ahead of Verstappen — this wasn't a normal qualifying session.
